Yakima County Sheriff Search and Rescue (YCSSAR) K-9 Team

The Yakima County Sheriff Search and Rescue (YCSSAR) K-9 Team is a non-profit, volunteer search and rescue program. Its purpose is to provide assistance to the Yakima County Sheriff SAR program and other counties in need of additional K-9 resources within Washington (and bordering states if requested through the Office of Emergency Management). Each volunteer spends their own funds for all related K-9 expenses pertaining to maintenance/veterinary care, travel and transportation costs, additional K-9 training courses as well as personal search equipment.
K9 Specialties: Air Scent, Trailing, HRD Land, HRD Water.

Kittitas County Search & Rescue (KCSR)

KCSR is a non-profit, adult organization formed in 1991, at the request of the Sheriffs Department. Members must be 14 years or older to join.
