Notes: Nancy loves being outdoors. Wilderness search and rescue is something Nancy always wanted to do for about 15 years. Because of job demands and young children, she waited until her kids were in college before she was able to join VSRDA. In March 2002, she bought her first dog "Rex" and began the adventure of undertaking something she had never done before. Rex became wilderness operational at 2 ½ and now at age five has a strong drive and is still Kong crazy. Nancy has taken the FTM and FTL courses through the state of Virginia and has served on the VSRDA Board as Secretary for three years. She is also ARDA's Vice President and Training Director!
